Google Nexus 6 explodes due to battery issues

                
       The Nexus 6 has to be one of Google's most unpopular handsets with supply issues and a large number of users complaining about the phone's battery swelling up and expanding leading to the rear cover opening up.


Now, a user has revealed that her Nexus 6 did not just expand but also exploded.


Monica Jasuja, a users from New Delhi, India posted via her Twitter account that her Nexus 6 blew up, destroying the battery lending the phone totally unusable. She also posted pictures of the affected phone that show the damage. The user added that the phone was not being charged or used when the incident took place and was just lying around.


It's worth mentioning that a number of users have been reporting that the phone's glued back comes off due to the phone's battery swelling up and expanding. Motorola, which manufactures the Nexus 6 for Google, has even acknowledged the issue and has said that it has come across a number of users who've reported the issue and is offering replacements to affected users
